Sonic Edge is a high school student a capella group from the Cobb County Center for Excellence in Performing Arts. In 2024, Sonic Edge shattered expectations as they won First Place at the International Championship of High School A Capella (ICHSA) in New York City in only their second year of existence. They were subsequently featured in the Marietta Daily Journal and on the local CBS affliate program, "Atl&Co." Sonic Edge is led by Mr. Trey Giddens, vocal director at Pebblebrook High School and is comprised of students in 10th-12th grade. Students come from cities all over Cobb County including Acworth, Kennesaw, Marietta, Austell, Smyrna, and Mableton.
