CHURCH STAFF Mark E. Nugent, Senior Minister mark@mapleavenuechurch.org    Mark has been working in the United Methodist Church since 1986. He has served many positions including but not limited to youth minister, children's minister, student pastor, and now Sr. Minister at Maple Avenue UMC. Before coming to Maple Avenue, Mark was the Associate Director of Communications for the North Georgia Conference of the UMC and spent 8 - 9 years developing electronic cutting edge communications for the church worldwide. He graduated from Berry College with a BS in 1991 and Emory University.with an M. Div in 1994. Mark was appointed to Maple Avenue in June of 2005.   Pam McCurdy, Associate Minister to Children and Youth pam@mapleavenuechurch.org Pam McCurdy holds an undergraduate degree from Florida State University and a Masters of Divinity from Emory University’s Candler School of Theology. She is a UMC preacher’s kid married to a UMC preacher’s kid. She and her husband, Newton, have two children: Charlie and Britt. She enjoys traveling, reading, watching classic movies and spending with family and friends. Her previous position was as the Director of Children’s Ministries at Powers Ferry UMC. As a teenager she played piano, sang, and directed youth choirs.
